Inission completes acquisition of Bavaria Digital Technik
Inission has completed its acquisition of German EMS provider Bavaria Digital Technik (BDT) in Pfronten. The deal covers all shares in BDT and gives the Swedish EMS provider its first factory in Germany.
Closing took place on 2 November, as planned when the agreement with the insolvency administrator of AD Capital was signed in mid-October. The purchase price is EUR 5.3 million and includes BDT’s property, valued at EUR 3.7 million, according to a press release from Inission. Half of the purchase price, EUR 2.65 million, is financed through an acquisition loan.
BDT was founded in 1969 and employs around 110 people, all of whom will remain with the business. Its customers are mainly in industrial automation, medical technology and energy. In 2025, the company generated revenue of approximately EUR 20 million and EBITDA of EUR 1.25 million.
BDT is consolidated into Inission’s accounts from 2 November. Inission expects the acquisition to add approximately EUR 17 million in annual revenue, less than BDT’s revenue last year.
