Ventec expands production capacity in China to capture AI market growth
Ventec Electronics (Suzhou), a subsidiary of Taiwanese laminate specialist Ventec International Group, is leasing an additional 20,000 square meters of factory space in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, according to a stock exchange filing.
The property is leased from Kunshan Tengyang Metal Products, a related party sharing the same chairman as Ventec. Monthly rent stands at RMB 470,000, with the lease running from October 2026 through October 2031 – a total right-of-use asset value of RMB 26 million, approximately EUR 3.38 million.
Ventec chose the related-party transaction because the facility is adjacent to its existing operations, allowing renovation work to begin immediately and shortening the timeline for production expansion.
The stated purpose is to capture growth opportunities in AI and high-speed computing – segments that are driving demand for advanced laminate materials – by adding production space without the delays of new construction, according to a stock exchange filing from the company.
