Rogers: Advanced Material Solutions for Automotive Radar in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
In the ever-evolving world of automotive technology, radar systems pave the way for safer, more comfortable autonomous driving experiences in electric and hybrid electric vehicles' sustainable future. At the productronica, we are excited to present our solutions for Automotive Radar and V2X ADAS applications. In level-2+ autonomous driving ADAS systems, Rogers’ materials are engineered to deliver outstanding electrical and thermal performance, ensuring signal integrity and systems reliability with cost-balanced products in radar applications operating in harsh automotive environments.
The 4D imaging radars are hitting the road with 77GHz Millimeter-wave radio signals. Rogers RO3003G2™ radar materials in the antenna and electrical feed network provide an efficient and reliable signal transfer to the MMIC at these frequencies. RO3003G2 laminates enable the radar to do reliable measurements in four dimensions: Doppler, range, azimuth, and elevation.
In the pursuit of safety and convenience inside the vehicle. Rogers is leveraging its RO4830™ and RO4835™ materials for in-cabin sensing radar technology at 60GHz. Our materials are the driving force behind radar systems that monitor the interior of vehicles, improving safety and comfort. RO4830 and RO4835 laminates exceptional performance and reliability allow the in-cabin radar to detect child occupancy and monitor vital signs, facilitating active safety systems and enhancing the overall in-cabin experience.

Reliable V2X (vehicle-to-everything) communication is key for achieving automotive autonomous driving levels two and beyond. During the productronica, we will introduce the Anteo™ groundbreaking, cost-effective, high-performance printed circuit board laminate that customers can process using standard epoxy/glass (FR-4) procedures. Anteo laminates empower reliable V2X antenna systems for precise positioning and communication between vehicles and infrastructure.
Rogers is unwavering in our commitment to pushing the boundaries of what is achievable in automotive radar applications. Visit us at the productronica (hall B3, Booth# 401) and discover how our advanced RF material solutions can help to advance your radar systems, both inside and outside the vehicle, to unprecedented heights. Together, we are shaping a sustainable vehicle future of driving safety and autonomy.
