Kyocera to buy Sanyo’s mobile division
Japan based Kyocera Corp plans to buy Sanyo Electric Co Ltd's. loss-making mobile phone business for up to $468 million.
The deal will create the world's sixth-largest cellphone maker, allowing Sanyo to focus on its core products such as rechargeable batteries, Reuters reported Monday.
