Foxconn to set up plant in Changshu

Foxconn is investing $35.1 million in a new plant in Changshu, China. In addition to the new establishment of a factory in Changshu, Eastern China, the Taiwanese EMS giant Hon Hai Precision Industry, Foxconn, will further inject USD 267 million into ten mainland affiliates, including USD 14.6 million into Foxconn (Kunshan) PC Connector Co., Ltd., USD 5.6 million into Hongzhun Precision Tooling (Kunshan) Co., Ltd., USD 38 million into Honxun Electronic Industry (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., USD 33 million into Foxconn (Tianjin) Precision Industry Co., Ltd., Hongfujin Precision Industry (SZ) Co., Ltd. and Fuding Precision Component (ShenZhen) Co., Ltd. each.
