Actel names VP of worldwide sales

Legenhausen will lead Actel’s growth initiatives for its, low-power field-programmable gate array (FPGA) and programmable system chip (PSC) solutions, accelerating the deployment of these products into existing and emerging high-volume markets. Legenhausen comes to Actel from Cypress Semiconductor, where he ranks from applications engineer to sales manager and, most recently, to vice president of sales focused on the Americas. As vice president of sales, he managed a team of over 200 people and achieved annual net sales of $300 million. Legenhausen holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Rutgers University, a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree in business from New York University.
