Hitachi withdraw from personal computers
Hitachi will withdraw from the personal computers business. The company will instead focus on larger network systems for businesses.
According to analysts Hitachi had been struggling to compete in the PC market. The PC market is dominated by companies such as Dell, Hewlett-Packard and Lenovo. According to the company Hitachi is now scaling back PC production at its central Japan plant.
