Thales is looking to acquire<br>Safran’s electronics division
French defense electronics group Thales is studying various acquisition opportunities.
Thales and Safran, a French aerospace and telecoms conglomerate, were preparing to restart merger plans. Safran declined to comment on this details, local media repotted.
Thales chief executive Denios Ranque said Monday that buying Safran's defence electronics business, Sagem Defense Securite, 'would make sense' but that as far as he knows, it is not for sale.
