Foxconn adds 1400 jobs in the US
EMS provider Foxconn plans to hire 1400 workers at its assembly plant in Plainfield, Indiana.
The company plans to hire the new workers during the next two years. It is still not announced what jobs skills the company will request.
In 2005 the company signed a lease with Duke Realty for 259,260 square feet of a 481,874-square-foot industrial facility in Plainfield, Indystar reports.
The news was announced by Gov. Mitch Daniels at a news conference.
