Agilent to invest $ 33m in Scotland
Agilent Technologies is investing $33m on its Scottish test system development and manufacturing facility.
The company plans to modernize the plant, this investment will help the company to spearhead the WiMAX wireless test business.
With this investment the company plans to establish the existing site at South Queensferry near Edinburgh into a design centre.
This design centre will work with hardware and software systems for the testing of wireless and network infrastructure.
The plant employs over 600 people and it producing specialist products, prototypes and early stage production.
