Silcotec shed 40 jobs in Ireland

40 jobs may be lost in Ireland as a result of restructuring EMS Provider Silcotec Europe.
Over 40 jobs are in danger at Silcotec's manufacturing plant in Carraroe, Galway, where it makes cable harnesses for the electronics industry. This was reported by local media during Friday evening.

Silcotec Europe is a full-service contract manufacturing operation with annual sales exceeding €9 million. Silcotec Europe specialise in being a service provider to those customers requiring cable harness solutions within the markets of medical, aerospace / defence, telecommunications and specialised industrial. They also has production in Slovakia.
