Flextronics hires 110 part time workers in Sweden
EMS provider Flextronics hires 110 holiday workers at its plant in Karlskrona, Sweden.
High demand from Flextronics customers forces Flextronics to increase its number of stand-ins. Flextronics has a heavy increase from its existing customers at the Swedish plant in Karlskrona right now and therefore Flextronics has to extend its part time workers during the holidays from 80 to 110 people. "We have our manufacturing running through the entire summer and to be able to do that we have to solve this situation with the workforce and we have also arranged with the original staff to spread their vacation over a longer period so that they are overlaping eachother", the HR Manager of Flextronics Anton Steenari told the Swedish radio.
