Increasing touch panel orders thanks to iPhone
The new Apple's iPhone will significantly grow the penetration of touch panels in the handset market this year.
According to Chinese-language Commercial Times Topology Research Institute expects the value production of touch panel displays for iPhone will total US$2.7 billion in 2007. Innolux, a Foxconn International subsidiary has reportedly received panel orders for iPhone.
