Contax installs cleaning system at Quantel

Quantel designs and builds production and post-production systems for content creators worldwide. Previously Quantel were using another screen cleaner, that had reached the end of its working life and was no longer providing the required results. Explained Nigel Burton, Senior Production Engineer at Quantel Ltd, “We needed to replace our existing cleaner as it was becoming obsolete, and more importantly, it used some highly flammable chemicals that we wanted to remove from our processes". The new system should clean and dry their screen printer foils and misprinted PCBs, use a water-based detergent and be reasonably compact.
