Foxconn orders 142 SMT lines
Taiwan based EMS giant, Foxconn, has reportedly ordered 142 Surface Mount Treatment lines from Sony Taiwan.
This investment is worth US$16.58 million. According to a company filing on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, quoted by Circuits Assembly, this deal was negotiated between November 2006 and April 2007. Where the lines will be installed has not yet been revealed.
