Microchip opens R&D center in Romania
American semiconductor company Microchip will open a research and development center in Romania.
The research and development center will open next week. Microchip`s production of microcontrollers reached at the end of 2006 the level of 5 billion. The new center will initially house 15 employees. By the end of 2008. Within four years, 100 employees should be working at the cenre.
