Foxconn to acquire BenQ?

The Taiwanese handset maker BenQ recently announced about its retreat from the European market with a number of factories closing down as a result. The company said it will get back to its Taiwanese roots and take back its winning concept as an Asian handset maker after the failure with the Siemens Mobile business. Who it will be that will place a bid for BenQ is yet unknown. Bloomberg named both Foxconn and Samsung as potential buyers.
