Chip buying continously strong
The chip buyers seem to keep up the pace even during next year, according to the chip makers.
“Bookings are expected to remain strong," especially for DRAM and NAND flash memory chips, in the fourth quarter, says CEO Steve Newberry of Lam Research Corp. in Fremont, Calif., one of the world's top suppliers of equipment used to make memory chips for consumer electronic devices.
