Samsung invests in Russia

Samsung is currently looking for suitable places in Russia for the construction of its new plants. The company plans to start building the plants during 2007. Samsung has already examined several places in Russia, including Obninsk 110 kilometres from Moscow. Samsung plans to produce large household appliances, including wide-screen liquid-crystal displays, washing machines and refrigerators. How many plants the investment include is not yet known.
