Putin awards Petersbourg for attracting investors
According to local media sources Russian President Vladimir Putin awards St Petersbourg for being successful in attracting foreign investors.
"It's gratifying to see that investors select St. Petersburg; it shows that the city is creating favorable conditions for them; the city authorities and the governor should be credited with it," the head of state said at a conference on investment projects in Russia's second largest city on Tuesday.
"Projects of such companies as Severstal, Russian Standard, Knauf, Toyota, Bosch and Elcoteq have been successfully implemented in St. Petersburg in the past three years," he stated.
