BenQ Mobile axe 1000 in Germany
Taiwanese mobile phone producer BenQ Mobile has decided to lay off a minimum of 1000 workers in Germany.
Mobile's German unit subsidiary is under threat of bankruptcy during this month. It is still unknown how the lay-offs will be divided between the different factories. This was reported by German news paper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
