In recent years, low-cost centers in Eastern Europe have taken their lumps from Asia in general and China in particular.
China has become the heavyweight champion in the fight for high-volume outsourcing, especially in consumer products. Eastern Europe has lost to China significant amounts of business in areas such as cell phones and low-end printers. Is Eastern Europe then down for the count?
