Omron acquires NHK's optical components
Omron Corp. has reached a preliminary agreement with NHK Spring Co. Ltd. to acquire NHK Spring's FTTH optical coupler business.
NHK had a total sales of 1.3 billion yen in 2005 and how much this deal is worth is yet unknown.
The deal is expected to close on November 1.
