Vitronics Soltec, Hover-Davis, Universal acquired by Francisco Partners

Equity firm Francisco Partners buys Universal from Dover and Hover-Davis and Vitrionics Soltec as independent firms.
Francisco Partners has signed a definitive agreement with Dover Technologies International to acquire Universal Instruments Corporation. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed and are subject to normal closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

"We were attracted to Universal due to the strength of their products and talented workforce".

Under this agreement Francisco also aquires Hover-Davis and Vitrionics Soltec.
