Daewoo Electronics axe 205 in NE Ireland
South Korean Daewoo Electronics will shed 205 employees at its facility in Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Talks have been held between unions and the management at the Northern Ireland electronics company. The reason is because the business has been hit by competition from cheaper imports such as China and Turkey.
