Absolute EMS picks up Vision MARK-1 from Insituware

Insituware LLC has sold its first handheld diagnostic tool, Vision MARK-1, to Santa Clara-based Absolute EMS.

The Vision MARK-1 is part of New Jersey-based Insituware’s Vision product family that incorporates machine learning technology into material control solutions in a handheld device. The product family consists of expandable modules, called “Insights.” This first Insight module acquired by Absolute EMS will allow full monitoring and control of solder paste and enable rapid, real-time inspection, diagnostics, and process control capabilities. In a statement announcing the purchase, Absolute EMS COO Doug Dow said, “We are very excited to be the first customer of Insituware to purchase the Vision MARK-1. With this tool, we will be able to offer our clients the ability to ensure and document that their boards have been manufactured with complete control of the materials. This will be a first in this industry and Absolute EMS is proud to be the first to use this advanced technology which guarantees our customers the highest reliability available today.”
