Matsushita to close a big number of factories
Japanese Matsushita which stands behind brands like Panasonic, Technics, Quasar and Ramsa is planning to close a large number of unprofitable factories.
As much as 170 unprofitable production sites in Southeast Asia will be shut down during the next five years to enable Matsushita to concentrate more funds to its sites in Brazil, Russia, India and China.
