Toshiba choose between Poland<br>and Czech Rep for new LCD plant
Japanese electronics conglomerate Toshiba is currently planning a location for its new European LCD TV-plant.
Toshiba is choosing between Poland and the Czech Republic as the location for the plant. Toshiba plans to hire 1000 people and invest EUR 50 million in the plant. Toshiba may invest on its own or in cooperation with its partner IPS Alpha.
IPS Alpha announced earlier this summer that it will invest EUR 90 million in an LCD screen factory in the Czech Republic.
Toshiba will decide by the end of August about the location for the new LCD TV-plant. This was located by a local media report.
