Mercury Systems completes acquisition of APC

Mercury Systems has completed its previously reported acquisition of American Panel Corporation (APC).

Mercury Systems acquired American Panel Corporation for a purchase price of USD 100 million, subject to net working capital and net debt adjustments, which was entirely funded with cash on hand. “We’re pleased that this transaction was completed; the next step is executing a seamless integration,” says Mark Aslett, President and CEO of Mercury, in a press update. “The acquisition is consistent with our strategy and will expand our position in the growing avionics market while providing important new capabilities for our customers. We welcome the APC team to the Mercury family.” Based in Alpharetta, Georgia, APC is a supplier of large area display technology. Their capabilities are deployed on a range of next-generation platforms, including the U.S.Army's Apache attack helicopter and M1A2 Abrams battle tank, as well as the F-35, F-15, F-16 and F-18 fighter jets.
