Huawei and Motorola to join forces in China
Motorola and Huawei is planning to create a joint R&D centre in Shanghai.
The R&D centre will be as part of a collaboration to combine their expertise in 3G UMTS and HSPA mobile technology. "With this collaboration, we are better positioned to meet our customers' 3G network infrastructure needs both today and in the future," said Greg Brown, president, networks and enterprise at Motorola. "This agreement enhances our technological innovation while also creating cost savings for our business."
