BJG Electronics Inc. picks up Montana’s Connector Tech LLC

Long Island, New York-based electronic distributor, BJG Electronics Inc. has purchased Connector Tech LLC for an undisclosed amount.

Connector Tech, based in Kalispell, Montana, is a franchised distributor of interconnect products from leading connector OEMs, including Souriau-Sunbank Connection Technologies, SPI-Connects and Detoronics. According to a company press release, with the purchase, BJG expects both improved capacity and access to commercial and industrial markets. Connector Tech will continue to operate as a value-added center for BJG in its Kalispell facility with its existing employees. BJG Chairman Glenn Davidson said, “Connector Tech is an ideal strategic fit for BJG, and we welcome the company’s employees to the BJG family. Both companies have been respected leaders in the distribution of interconnect products for decades, and the addition of Connector Tech allows BJG to continue to expand our value-added production capabilities to better meet the evolving needs of our customer base.” BJG Electronics was formed in 1979 and employs approximately 200 people.
