SMK Electronics receives IATF certification for its Mexico facility
SMK Electronics Corporation U.S.A, a division of SMK Corporation, has received IATF 16949:2016 certification of its Mexico Manufacturing Facility, as well as its Detroit Automotive Sales Office. Previously certified are SMK’s Toyama, the Philippines and Shenzhen manufacturing centers.
“Receiving the IATF certification of our Mexico Manufacturing Facility and Detroit Sales Office, SMK is evolving into the U.S. auto industry’s first choice for OEM components and systems,” says Paul Evans, President, SMK Electronics Corporation, in an update.
“The culmination of a 4-year internal program, these quality certifications now guide our North American manufacturing operations,” continued Mr. Evans, “giving manufacturers a trusted source for quality, automotive-grade components.
