AMD to acquire ATI?
According to EETimes we can expect that AMD will acquire ATI Technologies in the nearest future.
"AMD executives are literally on the plane to New York right now", one industry source told EETimes.
According to EETimes if the acquisition goes through, the deal would give AMD "what Intel already has, plus more—a discrete graphics chip business Intel doesn't have," market researcher Jon Peddie told EEtimes.
