Foxconn acquires digital camera maker

According to dailytech.com Foxconn acquires the Taiwanese digital camera maker Premier Image Technology for about $865 million. Premier will complete Foxconn´s digital camera manufacturing as Premier manufactures complete digital camera units while Foxconn so far only has produced and developed the camera components. By this acquisition Foxconn is expecting to win more orders from companies like Olympus, Pentax and Sony.
