Apple responds to working condition<br>claims at Foxconn's iPod factory

Apple has responded to the British paper Mail on Sunday's claims in an article regarding working conditions at some of Foxconn's manufacturing site in China where the iPod is produced. Apple is also currently investigating the allegations regarding working conditions in the plant in.

Apple says it is committed to ensuring that working conditions in its supply chain are safe, and that workers are treated with respect and dignity. The manufacturing processes are environmentally responsible. Apple says it does not tolerate any violations of its supplier code of conduct.
