The investments in Norautron’s Polish facilities continues

Norwegian EMS provider Norautron is continuing their strategy for the company’s Polish operations.

The company completed the refurbishment of both buildings earlier this year. In the machine shop, machinery for sheet metal forming, punching and CNC machining has been modernised and upgraded. The focus is manufacturing of components typically used in mechatronic assemblies, such as housing, panels and brackets. In the electronics building next door, a new SMT-line and selective soldering machine will be installed during October. Operators are currently undergoing training at other Norautron sites. Electronics production will start up towards the end of this year and going in to the beginning of 2017. The company’s Nordic customers have expressed in this low cost manufacturing opportunity within EU – geographically closer to their own operations.
