Schneider Electric to sell its transportation business
Schneider Electric has signed an agreement to sell its Transportation Business to Kapsch TrafficCom AG.
The business generated revenues of EUR 134 million in FY2014. Schneider's Transportation Business is currently consolidated under its Infrastructure business.
Kapsch TrafficCom will acquire Schneider's Transportation Business for about EUR 35 million.
The sale of the business is part of the Group's strategy to optimise its portfolio and strengthen its focus on core businesses.
