Mycronic leaves 1Q with record order backlog

Mycronic's opened the 2015 with some strong figures leaving the quarter with a record high order backlog.

“This year opened well for Mycronic, even without any mask writer deliveries during the first quarter. Demand for our products has been favorable and we are leaving the quarter with a record high order backlog,” says Lena Olving, CEO and president of Mycronic AB. Order intake during Mycronic's first quarter amounted to EUR 50.1 (30.5) million, up from EUR 30.5 million during the same period last year. The company's order backlog was EUR 92.5 million, compared to EUR 20.5 million during the first quarter of 2014. Net sales amounted to EUR 32.3 during the company's first quarter of 2015 compared to EUR 25.7 million during the same period in 2014. EBIT was EUR 2.7 million compared to roughly EUR 319'350 back in 1Q14. The company estimates that sales in 2015 will be in the span EUR 175.6-186.2 million.
