Football lovers and the perfect heist

Not everyone loves football, but Brazil is currently full of all who do. But what to do when Football isn't quite up your street?

EDITOR'S NOTE_ New information totals the value of the stolen goods to approximately BRL 14 million (USD 6.5 million), considerably less then previously reported. The company also states that around 50 people were taken hostage.
Some 20 men - armed with submachine guns - decided to stage a heist. They raided one of Samsung's key manufacturing plants in Brazil (in Campinas), which resulted in reported losses of about BRL 80 million (USD 36 million). Just after midnight - and with over 200 staff doing their regular work - the robbers (dressed in regular staff gear) apparently loaded seven trucks with numerous items including notebooks, tablets and smartphones, zdnet reports. It seems that some employees were held hostage. The rest of the workers had their smartphones disabled to prevent them from calling the police. The latter believes it to be an inside job and are now investigating. And I have to agree with zdnet, Martin Scorsese couldn't have done it better.
