Orion teams up with Sharp<br>in Polish LCD-production
Japan based TV-maker Orion Electric will partner with Electronics giant Sharp in an LCD-TV investment in Torun, Poland.
Sharp earlier announced its investment worth 146 million Euros in a LCD panel production in Torun, Poland. Sharp has now signed Orion Electric as its partner for assembling the LCD TV-sets. The companies will jointly set up two plants this summer. The LCD TV-production is schedule to start in December this year. In the beginning the venture is expected to create over 3500 jobs in the region, Warsaw Business Journal reports.
