Foxconn sues Toshiba, Funai and Mitsubishi over LCD patents
Foxconn is suing the Japanese trio in a US court over patent infringement.
MiiCs & Partners – Foxconn's partner in the matter – has filed a lawsuit against Toshiba, Funai and Mitsubishi, regarding patent infringements with the Delaware District Court. The patents in question cover TFT LCD products, according to a report in DigiTimes.
Neither Foxconn – nor MiiCs & Partners – have stated what level of damages are expected or sued for. However the companies have demanded “a jury trial on all issues appropriately triable by jury.”
