Unimicron planning new facility in China

Taiwan-based PCB manufacturer Unimicron is planning to set up a new manufacturing facility in central China.

Unimicron has reached an investment agreement with the government of Huangshi City, in central China, which should make it possible to establish a new manufacturing facility for PCB's and components, reports DigiTimes. However, the plans seem to be in its early stages and nothing has been decided yet. The establishment of the new facility will depend on future business development. But as cost for setting up facilities in the coastal area is rising, the Chinese inland becomes more interesting to a number of companies.
