'Jakarta': a scaled down Z10?
BlackBerry has - a while back now - introduced EMS-provider Foxconn as its new manufacturing partner. Now a few more details about the outcome of that cooperation have been leaked.
So has the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona - for many companies the ideal platform to show off new gadgets - been named to host the unveiling of that first collaboration.
Furthermore, comments by Blackberry's John Chen indicate a market release in April or May 2014.
Specs have surfaced too and from the pictures floating around the web, it seems to resemble the design of the Z10 (a scaled down version if you so will).

- Memory: 8 GB application storage and 1.5 GB RAM
- Display: 5inch 540 x 960 pixels LCD display
- Battery: 2650 mAh non-removable battery
- Camera: 5MP rear-facing camera with Autofocus and flash
- Camera: 1.1 MP front-facing camera
