UK firm Merlin increases test capacity
The UK manufacturer of flexible, flexi-rigid and muli-layer circuit boards, Merlin Circuit Technology Ltd.,have recently installed two ATG high speed flying probe test systems.
The ATG high speed flying probe test systems are designed to assist with the increasing throughput of small to medium batches of complex boards containing fine pitch products up to 5mil pads. The ATG fixtureless test machines can operate at 4,500 tests/min for multilayers.
Merlin Circuit Technology is not only experiencing unprecedented current demand for high-end circuit boards, but they are now in a strong position to offer a variety of board finishes to meet the requirements of customers with exempt products as well as those who need to meet the July deadline for lead-free compliance.
