PCB market in March 2013 positive

Compared with March 2012, the strongest month of the entire year, revenue figures decreased by 6.4 percent. Cumulative figures for the first quarter remained one percent lower than figures reported for 1Q/2012. Order intake in March increased sequentially by almost 5%; almost 4% YoY. Order intake for the first quarter 2013 remained 0.4 percent lower than that of the corresponding period 2012. The book-to-bill ratio reached a value of 0.98, as the revenue from existing orders was slightly higher than the value of new orders. The number of employees was unchanged from the previous month. Compared with March 2012, employment figures decreased by 3 percent.
