Petronics invests in equipment from Mydata
Petronics Electronica Assemblage, a Dutch electronics assembly subcontractor, has added in-house SMT capabilities to its services by purchasing a pre-owned MY12 component placement machine from Mydata.
The Mydata MY12 purchased by Petronics has a maximum throughput of 21,000 cph and, since it can accommodate up to 144 feeders for 8 mm tape-mounted components, it gives the company a high level of flexibility in its SMT operations. It is compatible with all component types currently in common use, including BGAs and 01002 packages.
