Jabil and Hungarian growth
EMS-provider Jabil and the Hungarian government have officially joined hands.
A strategic cooperation agreement between the Hungarian unit of Jabil Circuit and Hungary was signed this week by state secretary for foreign affairs and external economic relations Péter Szijjártó and Jabil Circuit Magyarország managing director Richárd Somogyi.
It is also understood that EMS-provider will expand its Hungarian production space - at the Szombathely location - by a further 8'000m2 in the near future. Jabil also aims to raise the proportion of its Hungarian suppliers, local media reports.
