Partnertech sales remain in line with 2011
Partnertech's third-quarter sales were in line with the same period of 2011. The same was true of operating profit, which totaled SEK 10 million (EUR 1.16 million) for the quarter.
Net sales for the quarter were SEK 517 million, down slightly from sales during the same period the year before of SEK 536 million. Operating profit during the quarter were even YoY , while up for the first three quarters from SEK 18 million to SEK 42 million.
Leif Thorwaldsson, President and CEO, Partnertech, said the company sees outsourcing provides the company with the chance to offset poor conditions in Europe.
“Although the European financial crisis has not shown signs of letting up any time soon, we see that manufacturing companies are more disposed to consider outsourcing as an option, which represents an opportunity for us as a contract manufacturer. I believe that this trend, along with our industrial structure and global presence, gives us the possibility to counter economic fluctuations,” said Thorwaldsson.
