New CEO at MSC-Polymer
Martin Weide, longtime sales director of MSC-Polymer, has been appointed new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2012.
The company's founder and former CEO, Michael Scharmer will remain responsible for R&D as well as production. "With the appointment of Martin Weide, the management of the company will pass into younger hands. A few years before Michael goes into retirement", a press release reads.
Besides its headquarter in Staufenberg (Germany), MSC Polymer operates subsidiaries in Poland and Singapore, and a sales office in Pune (India).
