Dell plans 2 billion dollar cuts in 3 years
Dell plans to cut 2 billion USD in 3 years, partly by making less products.
Dell announced the plan in a yesterday at an analyst meeting.
The majority of expensives will be cut in the sales group, where the company hopes to cut 800 million USD in expenses. 600 million USD in cuts are planned in Dell's factories and other parts of its supply chain.
The remainder of the cost-cutting will be concentrated in service delivery (400 million UsD) and its general and administrative spending (200 million USD).
